Honor points will NOT reset.

So spend them now before you can't anymore.

New WoW Expansion Announced! Cataclysm

Yep, Blizzard has already annouced the new world of warcraft expansion, and I for one have mixed emotions about it. On one side I am stoked for new content, the redesigning of old azeroth and flying there. On the other hand a lot of the changes seem kind of dumb and I'm not sure how to feel about them.

If you have been living under a rock then you probably havn't read all the information about it, so, I will do a brief overview.

The new expasion is implimenting two new races, Goblins for horde, and Worgen for alliance.

They are also adding race/class comp changes, human hunters, tauren paladins, ect.

All the new content will take place in Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms, and flying mounts will be enabled.

With these changes they are drastically changing all the old world areas, for example thousand needles will be flooded, barrens will be in two seperate zones, and azshazar (however you spell it) will be a low level quest zone.

Playing from pre-bc til now make the old world changes somewhat sad, it is nice to see change but also sad to see basically everything that used to be pre-bc go away.

Stay tuned for more updates!

3.2 Leveling. Fastest way to level 71-80 in BG's!

Yep, with the recently released content patch blizzard has implimented XP gains from battlegrounds. Although, it was kind of hit and miss. The only battleground worth playing for XP is alterac valley. Ab,IOC,WSG and EOTS all suck for xp.

AV grants about 60-80k for a loss, and about 170k for a full clear win. If you are on a good battleground, well, this is probably a few hours faster than manually questing. The good thing about this also is that you can level, and save up honor for deadly/furious peice of gear for when you hit 80. If you are thinking, "okay well that's cool but what about all the gold I would make from questing". Well, there are a few pro's to Bg leveling in that aspect also.

1. You can still complete those quests at lvl 80 for massive gold.
2. For 10k honor points each you can buy the new epic gems from the honor vendor in the Champion's Hall in Stormwind. These sell uncutt for 100-200 gold each. Easy money.

Brood Mother Returns! Onxyia Comes back to Life in Northrend

Yes, you have read the title correctly. Blizzard is redesigning and tuning Onxyia for an upcoming minor content patch. I believe it will be maybe 3.2.2, or atleast before Icecrown citadel. Here is the blue post.

"She has lurked in her lair and done battle with the many brave adventurers who travelled to that familiar location over the years. Now, in honor of the World of Warcraft 5-year anniversary, the dreaded brood mother Onyxia is being revamped to make a return to the forefront of Azeroth, as part of our big plans for the upcoming 3.2.2 content patch.

This permanent update to Onyxia will convert the dungeon into 10- and 25-player modes. We will be adding new items to Onyxia’s loot table that have the same model as some of the classic loot from this dungeon, like Tier 2 helms, with stats updated to match the current level of content. There will be a special new item too: a normal drake-sized 310% speed flying mount modeled after Onyxia herself called an Onyxia Broodling. We will also be updating the encounter mechanics to be more fitting for modern raiding, but we can guarantee players will get to experience the frightening horror of deep breaths once again.

Then for a limited time, after the 5-year anniversary event officially begins in November, anybody who logs in will receive an Onyxia Brood Whelpling pet.

We’re very excited to bring this classic encounter back to provide a fun new experience for both new and veteran players. Further details will be available in the near future, and we will be setting up the Public Test Realms soon to help test out this fight along with all the new content we have planned for the patch. Keep an eye on the forums for updates! "

Epic Gems in 3.2, Make Gold

With the recent release of patch 3.2, they implimented epic gems. Since it is such a new thing, everyone is buying up the gems like hot cakes, and for absurd amounts of money. This morning I made over 1000 gold off of one my alts honors points.

I bought 5 epic red gems, I forget their correct name currently as I am at work, but they all sold, uncut for 200 gold each, which isn't actually much since they can be cut into 400 gold each gems. Each epic gem is only 10k honor points, which is actually pretty cheap. You can also buy them for 20 badges of heroism if you had any stock piled.

Either way, this is gold waiting to be made but you probably should act soon before the craze is over. I know that when I get home from work I am going to probably doing the new battleground and grind honor points to buy more gems.

Hope this was a useful tip!
