Where to start in WoTLK?

WoTLK is confusing at first for the new level 70 player, it is even more confusing on what to do when you hit 80. Even if you were one of the best players pre WoTLK, you are still considered a noob at lvl 80 if you don't know everything there is to know.

Here are some things you should know, but take time,or a little guidance.

1. Boss Encounters - There are quite a few new encounters, and if you havn't done them all, well then you will be a noob the first few times through until you learn them all.

2. Gear- Your 70 gear, even Black temple, sunwell, is pretty much outdated at lvl 80, so it takes time to get the new gear.

3. Terrain - It pretty safe to say that once hitting 80 you still havn't been everywhere there is to go and memorized every NPC.

There are many other things, best grind spots, best mining node routes, quickest way to play the auction house using the new market prices of the items.
